I have been informed that a blog, by nature, is supposed to be a short, "newsy" updating of the things going on within the ministry and that I have been remiss in providing news of the daily happenings within PPM. I hereby apologize and will try to do better from now on.
I am again heading for Leogane. Missionaries Deborah and Jessica will accompany me August 7th through August 14th. They will be teaching English to the high-schoolers and the staff of Pastor Joseph's school. Roody and I will be checking out some potential vocational opportunities for several of our high-schoolers and preparing for the arrival of Pastor Wayne who has been invited to preach to a HUGE crowd at the Soldiers of Christ auditorium in Port-au-Prince. PLEASE pray for all of us -- especially for safety and the ability to function effectively in the seriously oppressive heat.
Roody and Pastor Wayne will also be laying the groundwork for a six-day prayer tour of Haiti that, according to the Holy Spirit, is to culminate in a seventh day celebration in Port-au-Prince.
